Can you replace one cracked tile without redoing the floor?
Usually, yes — we remove the damaged tile without disturbing its neighbors and set a matching replacement. The main question is whether matching tile is available; bring us a spare if you have one from the original install.
My grout is dark and crumbling — regrout or retile?
If the tiles are sound and well-bonded, regrouting restores the look and the water seal at a fraction of the cost of retiling. We'll tell you honestly if what's underneath needs more than that.
How long does a backsplash take to install?
A typical kitchen backsplash is a two-day job: tile set on day one, grouted and sealed on day two after the mortar cures.
Do you fix the wall behind failed tile?
Yes. If water has damaged the backer or drywall behind the tile, we replace it with the proper backer board before setting new tile — covering it up isn't a repair.
